Testimonials

CMR presents a great community for muscle research, especially with a focus on human diseases. In my particular work, I’m interested in investigating epigenetic changes that occur on human muscle and other as a consequence of motor neuron diseases. Without our connection to the clinicals teams, as well as the MyoBank and MyoLine, none of this would be possible.

Additionally, the center provides me the chance to consult and collaborate with many different experts on different aspects of muscle biology, right in the same place!

Researcher - team SMERIGLIO " Biotherapies for motor neuron disorders (ALS & SMA)"

Joining the myology research center has enabled me to become part of a dynamic scientific community, engaged in research that has a real impact on the understanding and treatment of neuromuscular diseases, while offering opportunities for personal and professional growth. As myology is an interdisciplinary field, being part of the center allowed me to collaborate with experts from different fields, fostering innovation and discovery. In addition, the research carried out has direct applications for human health, particularly for neuromuscular diseases. This gives a profound meaning to research, as it can lead to concrete improvements in the diagnosis, treatment and management of these diseases.

Researcher, Team " Muscle cell organization and therapy of dominant centronuclear myopathy"

Being part of the administration pole within the Myology Research Center is more than joining a simple research structure. It is choosing to be part of a team where every contribution counts and where administrative commitment plays a key role in the advancement of science.
My role within the Center allows me to contribute to research in an indirect, but nevertheless essential, way. By ensuring that researchers have everything they need to fully concentrate on their scientific work, I relieve them of administrative tasks and allow them to focus on what is essential: their discoveries.
By facilitating these aspects, I contribute as best I can to the success of myology research projects, while ensuring smooth and efficient management of the Center’s resources.
