Director of Research at Inserm, my research aims at providing a therapeutic solution to patients with a rare genetic disease affecting the skeletal striated muscle. The objectives of the team are to better understand the fundamental mechanisms of muscle biology (membrane traffic machinery, connections between cytoskeletons and the nuclear envelope, mechanobiology), to elucidate the pathophysiogical mechanisms, to develop a therapy for the dominant centronuclear myopathy and to optimize the use of adeno-associated viral vectors in muscle therapies.
