Présentation
I am Director of Research at CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research, France) and team leader at the Research of Center of Myology (Sorbonne University/INSERM) at La Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital in Paris.
I studied molecular and cellular biology at Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris. During my different research experiences, a PhD (INSERM, France), a postdoctoral fellowship (King's College of London, UK) and a position in a private laboratory (Innothéra, France), I specialized in molecular and cellular signaling in different pathophysiological contexts. Since 2001, my research activities are focused on understanding the etiological and pathophysiological mechanisms involved in autoimmune myasthenia gravis. My research team is also widely involved in the search for new therapeutic approaches using different experimental models. In collaboration with clinicians working on myasthenia gravis, my team is also looking for new cellular and molecular biomarkers for the follow up of the patients using new technological approaches.
