After completing a PhD on the identification of molecular mechanisms of activity-induced neuroprotection in spinal muscular atrophy and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, I am now focusing, as part of my postdoctoral research, on the characterization of new models in the context of myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1 or Steinert’s disease).
